About Our Physician Assistant

Judy Nelson, MPAS, PA-C is a graduate of Stetson University and graduated at the top of her class from the Emory University Physician Assistant Program in 1984. She earned her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska and is currently working on her Ph.D.

She has over 21 years of experience as a clinical and surgical Physician Assistant, including 11 years at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville.

Judy is a sixth generation Floridian and has lived in Jacksonville since 1969. She is active in animal rescue and missions work. She enjoys spending time with her Mom, Church activities and sewing for two orphanages in Haiti.
